Aries (Mar 21st – Apr 19th)
Aries the Ram is a Fire sign and tends to be very assertive. When stress comes a-knocking, Aries isn’t afraid to face it head on but sometimes the rage that comes with assertion ricochets and hits the people around Aries. If the Ram has been upset by someone, particularly when their trust has been breached, they’ll react with confrontation and may even become aggressive. A stressed Ram is an angry Ram and anyone in their path might end up on the chopping block.
Taurus (Apr 20th – May 20th)
Taurus the Bull is an Earth sign and is very fixed on being reliable and resistant to change. Because the Bull likes to be helpful, they tend to says “yes” to too many favors and end up in way over their heads. This causes them a lot of stress, which may manifest as sleep problems and anxiety. Taurus also really, really hates change so the Bull tends to put up a resistance. The friction this causes produces a lot of stress for Taurus. The Bull has a tough time identifying when they’re stressed, so their anxieties tend to manifest into physical issues, like insomnia and weight fluctuations.
Gemini (May 21st – June 20th)
Gemini the Twins is an Air sign who revels in staying busy and keeping their mind working. When the Twins get bored, they get antsy and begin stressing out big time. Twins are the thinkers and the multi-taskers of the world, and when they feel like they aren’t doing enough they become stressed out and self-destructive. This self-destruction can manifest as headaches, acne breakouts, and body aches.
Cancer (June 21st – July 22nd)
Cancer the Crab is a Water sign and tends to be a bit of a worrier. In fact, much of the Crab’s stress comes from overthinking things and making themselves ill with worry. Cancer has the tendency to drown itself in “what if” questions. Not to mention, the Crab is very caring and protective over their loved ones, so their stress can get out of hand when someone they care about is hurt or sick. Cancer could literally worry themselves to death.
Leo (July 23rd – Aug 22nd)
Leo the Lion is a Fire sign and loves to be the center of attention. Whenever the Lion feels like they’re being ignored or showed up, they’ll lash out with a full force of “Notice me!” Their stress manifests as neediness and a yearning for validation. Sometimes they’ll tend towards dangerous stunts or flat out immature actions in order to feel like they’re important again. The Lion’s stress obscures their logic and may manifest as restlessness.
Virgo (Aug 23rd – Sept 22nd)
Virgo the Virgin is an Earth sign who tends to be independent and self-sufficient. While this is okay for most things in life, it’s detrimental when it comes to dealing with stress. The Virgin is a bottler of emotions. Virgo tries to keep their emotions in check which cause a buildup and inevitable explosion. The Virgin holds themselves to high standards and try to handle problems on their own which makes them prone to meltdowns.
Libra (Sept 23rd – Oct 22nd)
Libra the Scales is an Air sign and is all about balance. The Scales are great at handling stress. They can deal with their emotions as they come and know when to let go of negativity. The biggest stressor that might come along is when Libra tries too hard to fit in and ends up turning to gossip to become part of the in-crowd.
Scorpio (Oct 23rd – Nov 21st)
Scorpio the Scorpion is a Water sign with an intense, deadly sting. One of Scorpio’s biggest stressors is when people betray their trust. A single heartbreak can awaken the Scorpion’s vindictive nature, causing them to lash out and sting – sometimes others, sometimes themselves. A Scorpio’s stress comes cloaked in a dark, poisonous cloud.
Sagittarius (Nov 22nd – Dec 21st)
Sagittarius the Archer is a Fire sign with determination in their heart and an unquenchable desire for freedom. The Archer becomes stressed when they can’t complete their tasks and when people try to control them. Trying to micromanage the Archer is a huge mistake. When Sagittarius is bogged down by stress, they end up feeling trapped and may even experience frequent sickness because of a weakened immune system.
Capricorn (Dec 22nd – Jan 21st)
Capricorn the Goat is an Earth sign who faces problems head on and never lacks ambition. While the Goat isn’t afraid to take on a challenge, sometimes they become overly ambitious and take on too many challenges at once. The Goat thrives on the high of stress which often leads to total burnouts.
Aquarius (Jan 22nd – Feb 20th)
Aquarius the Water-Bearer is an Air sign who cares deeply for others and is extremely empathetic. The Water-Bearer has a tendency to absorb other people’s stress and pain, making them vulnerable to exhaustion and sleep problems. Because they concentrate so much on other people’s problems, Aquarius tends to ignore their own stress and become overloaded with anxiety, sometimes resulting in chest pain and shakiness.
Pisces (Feb 21st – Mar 20th)
Pisces the Fish is a Water sign with a penchant for feeling too much and trying too hard to please the people around them. The Fish is likely to be overwhelmed when things don’t go their way and have trouble rebounding from accidentally hurting the people they care about. The Pisces’ stress turns them into unkempt messes and may even lead to depression.
